Diversity Day Takeover

PAA Talks 2022
PAA Talks is a TED-style Talk on AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) experiences by TCNJ’s AAPI community (PAA) members. This event is run entirely by students with two co-chairs, Gabbi Son and Brandon Hoang, and a committee of students, Kyla Ramos, Neerjah Upreti, and Christopher Cerny. Diversity Narratives Project
The Diversity Narratives Project is one of several strategic initiatives in support of the TCNJ’s efforts to promote inclusive excellence and illuminate the stories of our diverse community. The Division of Inclusive Excellence has contracted famed artist, educator, and activist Adam Mastoon to produce a series of photographic portraits, accompanied by powerful text and artwork inspired by the lived experience of our peers, colleagues, and friends. IGD Facilitator Training
Intergroup Dialogue is a communication technique grounded in “face-to-face facilitated conversations between members of two or more social identity groups that strives to create new levels of understanding, relating, and action.” In higher education, the purpose of IGD training is to provide faculty and staff with a foundation for the effective facilitation of structured dialogues as a social justice tool.
