SAAB (Brother 2 Brother)

SAAB, or Brother 2 Brother (B2B), is a national organization focused on increasing the number of African American and Latino men that graduate from college by creating a positive peer community based on a spirit of caring. SAAB operates through student-run chapters with professional advising and mentorship to assist young men to excel academically, socially, culturally, spiritually, and in their communities.

SAAB, formerly known as the Student African American Brotherhood, is a dynamic organization dedicated to ensuring men of color have the support needed to excel academically, socially, and professionally. As a national leader pursuing equity in education, SAAB provides the blueprint for institutions striving to create more equitable communities for men of color. Through the strong bonds of brotherhood and mentorship, SAAB works on over 300 campuses in over 40 states with men of color in high school and college. The goals of SAAB are for all Black males on educational campuses to take full advantage of their academic years and to better understand and practice their full responsibilities, rights, and privileges as citizens of this country.

The TCNJ Chapter of SAAB was founded in 2022 and is open to any male-identifying African American or Latinx student. Please contact any of our advisors about joining.
