On behalf of The College of New Jersey’s (TCNJ) Division of Inclusive Excellence and Career Center, thank you to all those who attended the 4th Annual Diversity Summit at TCNJ’s Brower Student Center on Wednesday, November 29th. We were thrilled to spend time with all our staff, students, faculty, and partner colleagues.
Event Information
The annual Diversity Summit is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and community sponsors to develop themselves professionally and personally towards the goal of a more equitable and inclusive society. Please join us for a series of keynotes, workshops, giveaways, and catered meals in celebration and pursuit of inclusive excellence. The Summit is open to all members of the campus community and its partners, featuring:
- Catered breakfast and lunch
- 12+ workshops & breakout sessions for students, employees, and guests
- Career Connections Session with employers and organizations
- Dedicated time for multiple career paths and plans
- State of Diversity Address by VP James A. Felton III
This year’s summit will focus on “Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Career Readiness” and feature several sessions designed to foster connections between our alumni and employers with students, faculty, and staff.
Alumni and Employer Partners
Alumni and employer partners are invited to attend one or both student career connection/networking events (depending on industry/field), as well as lunch to meet with faculty and staff over round table discussions.
Proposals for Workshops
The Summit serves as a platform for exceptional scholars and practitioners to share their knowledge and expertise around relevant topics such as career development, diversity in the workplace, social justice, neurodiversity, and other issues essential to life in a more diverse world. All members of the campus community are welcome to submit proposals for workshops.
