Thank you to all who joined the Division of Inclusive Excellence, Black Student Union, and TCNJ NAACP for our annual raising of the Pan-African Flag, in recognition and celebration of Black History Month 2021.
This event marked the start of our observance and celebration of Black History Month 2021, and featured remarks from TCNJ students and administrators along with a rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing. TCNJ’s own Rev. Jamal Johnson provided reflections on Dr. Martin Luther King, a massively impactful figure in US and world history.
This event was held at 12pm noon on Friday, February 5 in front of Trenton Hall, where over 120 community members joined us virtually. For those who could not attend – and those who wish to hear the incredible presenters and performers again – the recording is available here and below.
